During your vacation, you might go out or have a Tinder date, which could lead to a wild night with a local or a tourist from another country. This may result in unprotected sex if you don’t have condoms with you. Unprotected sex can always lead to an STI, especially in countries where certain STIs are more prevalent than in the Netherlands. To clarify the risks, we have listed the most common STIs by continent below:
STIs most common in Europe:

- In South and Southeast Asia, HIV and Hepatitis B are most common.
