Reliability
The Gluten Allergy Self-Test has high reliability values in terms of sensitivity and specificity. Additionally, the test is CE certified.
The sensitivity of a medical test is the percentage of correct positive results among sick individuals.
Sensitivity = 97%
The specificity of a test is the percentage of correct negative test results among non-sick individuals.
Specificity = 96%
Instructions for use:
- Open the sealed bag and remove the test cassette. Place it face up on a clean, dry, and flat surface.
- Massage your fingertip and clean it with the alcohol wipe. Now let the arm hang down for a few minutes to improve blood flow to the fingers.
- Press the automatic lancing device with the round opening firmly against the clean fingertip and wait for a drop of blood to appear.
- Take the transfer pipette and hold it horizontally against the drop of blood so that the transfer pipette fills.
- Add two drops of blood to the test cassette (S).
- Add 2 drops of buffer to the test cassette (S).
- Read the result 10-15 minutes after adding it.
