Intended Use
The Vivoo Hydration Reagent Strips for urine tests include a specific gravity test. This test semi-quantitatively measures the specific gravity of urine. Users compare the color change on the strip to the color blocks for specific gravity. Measuring urine specific gravity is crucial to understand your hydration status. It compares the density of substances in your urine to water, indicating how hydrated you are and the concentration of dissolved particles such as waste and salts.
Normal Range
The normal range for urine specific gravity is between 1,002 and 1,030. Deviations may indicate various conditions. Low specific gravity can indicate excessive fluid intake, while high specific gravity can indicate dehydration or concentrated urine.
Quality and Ease of Use
The Vivoo Hydration Test Strip contains a solid-phase reagent on a paper strip. The strip is designed to measure and monitor hydration in urine, providing insights into the user’s overall well-being.
Storage and Stability
Store the Vivoo Hydration Test at 2-30°C, away from direct sunlight. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not use after the expiration date.

Interpreting Results
Electrolytes in the urine cause a color change, ranging from deep blue-green to yellow-green. Compare the color to the color blocks on the bottle label to determine your hydration level. The normal range for urine specific gravity is between 1,005 and 1,015. Low specific gravity can mean overhydration, while high specific gravity can indicate dehydration.
